CMS Meccanica Tonon: THE HISTORY OF PRECISION MECHANICS

CMS Meccanica Tonon was founded by the entrepreneurial genius of Silvano Tonon in the mechanical technology district of the Italian Veneto region, during the 80s, which saw the emergence of the Northeast and thousands of small businesses. Having become, over the years, a well-established local manufacturer, we have developed an ability to plan projects far beyond national borders and export our know-how worldwide.

In these decades of professional commitment, we have gone from purely artisanal manufacturing to the industrial 4.0 model. The leitmotif of our commitment has been a passion for innovation and precision, which is ultimately all that is needed in our trade. By following this strategy, CMS Meccanica Tonon has made the history of precision mechanics. And that’s not all.

We have been introducing CNC technology since the 1990s to fulfil our promise of high-level workmanship with processes such as grinding, milling and turning, wire and die-sinking EDM, and the production of customised prototypes.
Our ISO 9001 certification, first achieved in the 2000s, has confirmed compliance with international standards, and the Zeiss industrial metrology laboratory which guarantees quality control at the highest levels.
We have also revolutionised the logistics section, adopting the Kanban method for maximum compliance with lead times, and automated the warehouse for storing goods and orders.
